We're in the midst of a generational paradigm shift in information technology. Most organizations are pursuing AI self-sufficiency with gusto; they’re training staff members, acquiring tools, and beginning to build their initial AI capabilities.
Unfortunately, what they're realizing is that AI requires access to lots of data—lots and lots of data. The "intelligence" in AI is created by allowing the system to learn from detailed history. Therein lies the challenge: most companies aren’t ready to deliver the data breadth and detail to support their AI development.
In this presentation, Evan Levy will offer a glimpse at some of the newest practices that companies are adopting to address their AI and data obstacles. The presentation will discuss the changes they’ve made to their data strategy and some of the data management tactics they’ve adopted to accelerate their AI development efforts.
Levy will discuss:
- The approaches companies are using to update their data strategy to support AI development
- Why data strategy and data management are key for enabling AI delivery
- The actions that you can take to address potential AI and data obstacles within your company
